We believe that a healthier planet starts with small, collective actions. That's why KUKUA PAMOJA TANZANIA is excited to partner with Ramat Tanzania for a special two-day environmental event aimed at promoting sustainability and caring for our communities.
Day 1: Tree Planting for Future Generations
When: September 19, 2024
Where: Mringa Secondary School, Mukulat Secondary School, Matimu Primary School
Join us as we plant shadow and fruit trees at local schools! This initiative not only beautifies our surroundings but also helps combat climate change, supports local wildlife, and provides fresh food for future generations. Your hands can make a difference!
What to Expect:
A day of planting and learning about the importance of trees in our ecosystem.
Fun activities and team-building exercises.
A chance to meet like-minded people who share a passion for the environment.
How to Participate:
Volunteer: Sign up to join us in planting trees. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm!

Day 2: River Cleanup for a Brighter Tomorrow
When: September 20, 2024
Where: Ilikiurei/Ngarenaro River
On the second day, we will roll up our sleeves to clean up the Ilikiurei/Ngarenaro River. This vital water source deserves our care and attention, as it's essential for the health of our community and the wildlife that depends on it.
What to Expect:
A dedicated team effort to remove waste and debris from the riverbanks.
Educational sessions on the importance of keeping our waterways clean.
Refreshments and fun activities to celebrate our hard work!
How to Participate:
Join the Cleanup Crew: Gather your friends and family and bring your gloves! Help us make our river pristine again.
Share Your Experience: Take photos during the event and share them using #KukuaPamojaEvent. We want to celebrate our collective impact!
